Fibre glass or steel

Postby bricky36 » Sun Mar 06, 2016 6:39 pm

Had Italian gp200 (1970) for a few months now,and just noticed the front mudguard is fibre glass.
Is this original, or should it be metal.

Trying to keep as original as possible.
Thanks

Well, it must be a good one if you've only just noticed. You might as well leave it because a replacement is probably going to be Indian, and then there is all the prepping and matching paint etc, etc.

So they are meant to be metal, I heard that some TVs where fitted with fibre glass mudguards.

Thanks for answer.

Most Tv S3 had fibre glass, they went back to metal after that.
