I recently removed my complete headset to re spray it. I took several close up pictures of the wiring. Really glad I did because none of the looms in Sticky's manual match the colour codes. I downloaded the pics to my laptop which really helped. Might sound daft to the youngsters on here, but wait till your an old git like me.

yep good tip, can save a hell of a lot of grief later on.
take pics as you go on engine builds saves that, did I put the arrow on the piston up or down moments

Me too, always take a pic with my phone 1st, especially with the headset in case I pull a wire out and can't work out where it goes back!

I always take many pictures on everything Lambretta related that I do,this way it is easier to check all the mistakes and fix them.
