Troops -- trying to get a R1 Shocky off my S2, it looks like its on the highest setting (stiffest) -- question is -- would reducing the tension of the shocky help me get it off & is the fact that it's on the stiffest setting puttining more pressure on the pins? Cheers All & have a good day -- G

Spring pressure will have no effect. Once the shock is at maximum extension it cannot alter its length no matter how strong the spring is. If it's stuck on the pins it's due to another reason.

Cheers Paul -- might need to get the "persuader" involved

Be gentle with it, the lugs are only ally and can fracture. try using a lever behind and as close to the eyes as possible. Only a little each end at a time or it will 'bind'.
