Hi,

I weigh 16st and my wife is 12st. Will this break a series 2? I can't find a max payload weight for a series 2 anywhere!

Cheers

If you can both fit on it you should be alright.

Mr Ali, his wife, sister-in-law, and 6 kids plus the shopping, seem to manage ok on the pot-holed streets of Mumbai.....if in doubt ask the missus to lose a couple of stone

Fortunately we are taller rather than wider!

What's the load/speed rating of your rear tyre, mate?

I think the limiting factor for you will be how many horses you've got under the panel as it will handle the weight

A series 1 I know with a rapido 225 handled around 40 stone the other year on the coast to coast and another 150 mikes home in a day , rear shock was a Bitubo Adjusted for the extra weight , and it's all still going strong

You, your missus and a S2 is coming in at around 285kg so I'd be more concerned about your tyres than your scooter...plus a decent rear shock
