TV200 gearbox

muggy 200, 42 clubman, 25m delly,,
any ideas on what front /rear sprockets to use,,
using original gearbox setup at moment, and 4th gear is shite more like a overdrive,
have to change down in head wind,,

A 14/47 sprocket set up would improve the top gear (if you can get the sprocket and chain). However it will give you a lousy lower set of gears and you will still have a big gap 3rd to 4th.
A top gear ratio of around 4.8/4.9 or even 5 to ensure good pulling two up on hills, would suit you. Use an Li150 or Li125 gearbox, nice close ratios and most easily obtained.

hi pete been told the 14/47 setup burnt out clutches, with the front sprocket being so small ???

Thats right, the larger the front sprocket the better Get an Li gearbox.

A chap in our group runs a TV200 box on a Indian 200 top end end.
He's just over 5 feet tall and weighs next to nothing - the combo works very well - very well indeed.
So not everyone buying on Ebay is a 'mug' or 'collector'.

I am not a mug or a collector but the TV 200 gearbox I've just bought off E bay goes well with the TV 200 barrel.
Impressed with a standard cast 200 pulling the 4.4 final drive.
