No Spark

Never had a problenm starting my scoot second kick every time.Now tonite all of a sudden it started,no reading on rev counter(clamp on HT lead type) spluttered pulling away and 50yds down the road stopped.Got it home no spark.No spark from green wire straight from staor either.Ohms readings are good and have continuity in all cables. HT lead ok too although not thru plug cap (?) Any ideas ?

I had very similar situation, from OK spark at plug to nothing even from green stator wire, changed condenser, adjusted points, cleaned all connections, checked good earth connections ,NG still no spark - eventually changed with my 6 pole stator from another scooter and its all OK again still not sure what is wrong with 4 pole stator - just stopped working - be interested to hear what you find wrong with it?
