Gori exhaust

Morning chaps ,anyone fitted the new gori 50 or the 42 exhaust to a GT 186 kit what's your thoughts on performance and manufacturing quality ie fit & welding ?

Not on a GT kit but I've got one on my TV175 and the fit is perfect as is the quality.

I can only comment on the fit and quality as I haven't run mine but the fit is perfect and the quality is very good, the only thing I would change (my view only) is the tailpipe bracket needs to be black and the front spring a bit more powerful.

I have a Gori habit, three pipes on all three of my roadworthy scooters. I love fitting them, but hate having to remove them get them fixed on a fairly regular basis.

My Gori 200 has the Gori 40mm exhaust, easy to fit and no issues at all, but to be fair it doesn't do a lot of miles.

My Mugello 186 has the Gori 50mm, has done loads of miles, Switzerland and back etc, fitted well but has been cut open once to remove loose inner parts, otherwise all good.

My Avanti also has the Gori 50mm, fitted really well but has been cut open twice to remove loose inner parts and also when I got back from Germany had to remove another small part of the inner mesh after it started rattling around and affecting performance.

These pipes are all noisy, but my love/hate relationship will still continue as I have another new Gori 50mm in it's box for the next project. I haven't tried the GP50 version either.

The coating is rubbish, and if you want it to look good invest in a decent coating before you fit it.

I've lost 4 tailcans over the years but recovered 3 of them. The little bracket doesn't like any stress and will fail if not perfectly aligned with the fixing point. So if you pull it in when doing the nut up on the chaincase, don't expect it to stay there for long. You'll soon know if you've lost it though as the noise will stop all the traffic around you.

One tailcan I lost on the way to Shipston on the Friday near Oxford, only to spot it in the central reservation on the way home on the Sunday.

I like them, but they aint perfect, but then can anyone name a box pipe that is?

I was really lucky, I just spotted it and managed to retrieve it, mind you at £50 each, it sharpens your focus a little.
