Hi,

The square profile on the end of the cable that fits into the speedo housing has sides that are 2mm wide. This seems too small for the square socket I can see inside the speedo.

How big should the end of the speedo cable be? It looks like it should be about 2.5mm square.

Are you using a Series 1/2 inner? IIRC these are smaller at the speedo end whereas Series 3/GP are the same thickness (2.5mm) at both ends.

early ser 3 use a ser 2 speedo cable i know because i keep buying the wrong one
