Buy a simple test light from any automotive parts outlet, then trace the power from stator to wherever it stops, thus identifying your fault. This is the type that I carry in my toolkit:
http://thumbs3.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/pi ... 7981_1.jpgIt very simply allows you to test the to see if there is power coming off your stator wire (goes to regulator), then whether it comes out of the other side of the regulator, then trace this to your junction box and or connection to loom, then it'll go to headset junction box (does it go into connector and come out the other side... many poor connector blocks do not make contact, even though crimped!), then off to respective switches and or equipment (bulbs, horn, etc.). This is a tool that everyone should have... as mine is forever coming out when other people's lights fail!!!!!
Simply buying replacement parts, for what may be nothing more than a bad connection, could prove to be a very expensive way of addressing your issue.
All the best.
