Hi all Anyone tried any 6 volt led bulbs at all don't want to change to 12 volt at the moment. Thanks

LEDs will work with a lower voltage but they are resistord up inside for the input voltage. The biggest problem with LEDS and im talking the standard bulb replacement types not the BGM rear light type. Is that you bike outputs AC. Your bog standard LED is DC so its only on half the time and off the rest, basically you wont see it doing it but the light output is a lot lower than if it was on DC. add to that the fact that you are going to be putting half the voltage in will reduce it further. I have had a lot of people ask me about my lights and go and try LEDs and come back saying they are sh1t. I run a full DC Wassel setup so they are not comparing like for like. You may find some designed to run 6V maybe on a classic motorbike site. The wassel Im using was designed as a replacement for the old Lucas zenner diodes used on old Triumphs and the like. Just remember it will only be on half the time
