Hi,what is the best way to remove Threebond from the gasket surface is there anything that will soften it?thanks mori63.

try thinners

As above, cellulose thinners dissolves it instantly 8-)

Carb/brake cleaner has little or no effect.

Thanks for your replies ,I didn't have any thinners but it came off with white spirt and elbow grease.....it wasn't instant though.
