The answer might be yes, but may I ask a couple of basic questions? Can you see the clutch arm moving? Is it moving enough?

The arm might be on the wrong position on the splines.

(Best to check this before opening up the casing again)

Yup. Sorry. However, these things never take as long as you think (well, sometimes)

It might be an idea to manually test the clutch operation to see if it is compressing.
That should tell you if it's the linkage/cable set up or the clutch it's self.

Yep will try n manually test the clutch meds ' apparently there should be Upto 2mm of clearance in the plates when clutch is compressed , will have to work out how much the fimble compresses the clutch first that shouldn't be to difficult !

Well spent the whole day stripping &fetling the Bgm super strong clutch wile relaying results through emails to Philipp at Bgm in Germany ,when the clutch is fully compressed to allow the plates to separate the springs both sets medium & hard become coil bound and the inner basket and compression plate still turn the outer back sprocket , Philipp said that they now supply the clutch with hardened shims as some shims had been bending when the clutch nut was fully done up , after taking measurements from the inside of the pressure plate to the inside of the basket face were the springs sit I believe it's a case of the basket not being deep enough & or the pressure plate , and when it's compressed they are binding together I suppose I could try 1 MM steels and shorter springs but when a clutch costs upwards of 340 quid ya would expect it to work , I will try the shim Philipp has shipped free of charge then take it from there .

Is the clutch supplied as a complete unit ; sprocket, spider, plates, springs etc ??

Yes Gaz springs , 1.2 MM steels , plates , sprocket , basket , pressure plate , with 2 threaded holes to compress it , I could put 1mm steels in that would give an extra 1mm clearance but would you be able to compress the Ten springs enough with the leaver .
I've sent Philipp a pic of the springs as asked , as they shouldn't be coil pound !
