Series 2 125

Hi all has any one got any info on the last series 2 125 frame no starting with 3 how many made etc or why a change in direction with frame numbers etc thanks

The highest one I have Authenticated is 3167**. To quote Vittorio Tessera's book "The Illustrated Guide To The Identification Of Lambrettas", this was because the total had reached 800,000 and risked creating identical numbering on two different models as this prefix had been reserved for LI150's.

I would think there are quite a few as I alone have authenticated nine in the last 21 months.
