Ok it seems like an odd question - but has anybody used GP panel clips on. S2 ....if so what modifications required???

You can't use GP ones - you need the API ones and they are like rocking horse s+%t.

I built my S2 and wanted an uncluttered panel look so had f/b ones made without tubes/handles thinking I would just use GP and got the end and found not, I had to make some fortunately a kind mate lent me a set to make some - if i'd have made 10prs I could have sold them straight away

Although looking at it again it appears that the gp ones might bend!!! But memory tells me the couldn't, reason why I made some (the bottom ones)

Still think they look mint without handles - I removed all badges and replaced with vinyl for the smooth look.

I had a go at bending some GP ones but I don't have much in the way of smithy's gear - they just about work but I wouldn't trust them on the road.

With a bit of patience and skill it can be done.

I do have a pair of API ones if someone wants to have a go at copying them.

Did it on my LD ,not to different to an S1/2 shape

Nice one - we'll done on that....im wondering now why I took the time to bend new from scratch (which was a pain) instead of altering some GP ones!????
