What type of seat is this please?

I'm hoping it's what people call a "coke bottle" shape as I want to fit an El tigre cover from buzzsolomoto.

Not quite sure about the bar for the catch plate. But I'd say so.

Thanks gents. Seems I've got what I want.

I intend to re-spring it but I would have thought the springs in a standard refurbishment kit are too long due to the extra plate on these.

Digger, did you manage to find a correct kit for yours?

Dickie

I just cleaned up the ones that were on it and welded the bar at the rear then painted it all with Smoothrite.

Yours look to be in pretty good shape.

yes it's pretty good but one of the long 'flattened' springs is missing and the two centre ones have obviously had a larger gentleman sat on them for several thousand kilometres.

I'll just buy a standard kit and shorten the springs to suit. A bit of black paint and Bob's your uncle.

thanks again.
