Technical help for Series one, two and three Lambrettas. Models include the Li, Li Special, TV, SX, GP, Serveta and API/SIL models

I have just bought a BGM LT coil after the SIL one on relatively new stator plate failed. I have cut off 4 laminates on the stator plate and fitted the BGM coil. I haven't soldered anything yet, but it is obvious that the yellow wire solder joint on the adjacent lighting coil will be touching the white wire solder joint on the coil. Is it something as simple as putting a blob of araldite on the lighting coil and letting that dry before soldering the LT coil white wire and aralditing that as well or do you need to fit an insulating plate between the two? If anyone has got a photo of what they have done it would be appreciated
