Stand & Scootopia Clubman

Afternoon all,

Building the scoot for Italy and fitted a new splashplate and sorted the supports for the stand. Had the PM on and all was good.
Decided to fit a Scootopia Clubman and standard carb now the stand won't come all the way up on either side. One Step Forward Two Steps back on my build!
Anyone else had this problem?

Can I bend the stand out? What is the best method for that? A trolley jack on it's side?
No runner boards on the scoot.

Any advice greatly appreciated. :D

Thanks
John

I have a series 2 and a series 3 both have a scootopia ancilotti type clubman fitted and both center stands come all the way up without touching the exhaust.

You haven't got it on back to front, or something?

I had the same problem albeit with a tino ancillotti; same dimensions I believe.

I fettled the splash plate so that i could move the stand a little further to starboard, but i still had to bend the stand out a little on that side. I bent it by standing on one leg and pulling the other. Possibly not great for your back if you're an average age scooterist. Obviously I had to remove the stand to do this.

My bgm clubman is easily clear.

Thank you all.

That will be a task for Saturday morning.

Well, the stand came off.
It was too hard to pull and bend with my dodgy back.
So using the drain in the street and a trolley jack the stand was bent.
Now fits past the exhaust on both sides.
Job done.
