Series 2 Rear frame struts

Hello Gents, hopefully gonna try to save another one...
Just got an Italian S2 and the main issue so far is that the frame struts(outriggers) that the panels sit on have been cut off about tree quarters of the way up, I know one side has a bolt on bit which are easy to get but does anyone sell the whole struts please?..and has anyone had this type of repair done?

On doing some research, no one seems to be able to get these struts, I was recommended to speak to Mike Phoenix in Manchester and once I sent him a few pics he reckons he can repair the frame, very helpful guy, thought I would post in case any others have similar issues

On mikes Facebook page it looks like he is gauging opinion on re making some new front and rear struts for series 1/2 as he already makes the series 3 ones .
