Spanish series 2

Advice please
Restoring a spanish series 2
Put forks in frame with inner mudgaurd and mudgaurd
Fitted headset bottom all internals
Tried to fit speedo cable inner first which was harder than usual
Then outer
No way
Any thoughts lads
Do i have to put speedo cable in bfore inner mudgaurd fitment

if it's just the hole at the bottom being too small you could just open the hole out by running a drill up it

It was a while ago when I did mine but do remember it being tricky!
I think I ran the inner up the fork tube with the front mudguard on but not bolted up. The outer went down the tube but still snagged and would not come through the fork tube hole so I sent a front brake inner down speedo outer and had to pull \ tease it through tugging on the brake inner. If that makes sense at this time on a Sunday morning!

it can be done with both mud guards in place I've done it on mine try a bit of grease on the end of the outer when you push it down the forks it does take some fiddling but it is do-able
