After 50 years of Lambretta repairs a new one on me; cylinder was tight as a tight thing on the barrel studs. Wasn't corrosion. One of the exhaust studs had wound slightly too far in and was trapping the corresponding stud. I'm sure it's been covered before but as I said; when you think you've seen everything.....

I had this with my new Gori 200 barrel. Swapped the studs thinking one was bent, no better. Ended up having to drill out the stud holes. Another Lambretta test!

just came accross the same thing today, just shortened the stud a little then re-fitted problem solved.
