Are the engine mounts (silent blocks) worn in any way, especially the kickstart side.

As Paul says, check your silent mounts. Also, just check all the bodywork over and make sure nothing is lose. I was experiencing bad vibrations at low-mid revs on one of mine that seemed to concentrate on the headset, was driving me mad, then I discovered the culprit was a loose fixing on the bridge piece. Tightened that back up and vibrations gone

Hi all thanks for reply the mounts look good and no rubbing, as for the bridge piece sorry to be thick but where do you mean?

The fork bearings (headset) may need tightening, worth a check.

The bridge piece is the bit of body work just beneath your fuel tap and choke and 'bridges' the gap between the legshields and the rear footboards. But that was my issue, not necessarily yours, just go over all the bodywork fixings and make sure nothing is loose.

cheers burnside thats what i thought you meant, its a major vibration through bodywork more like engine or forks i believe
