Michelin S83 Tyres

Trying to get S83's onto original rims but they are so damn tight. Anyone got any tips??

Put them in the oven on 120 for 10 minutes. Soap up the rims.

Put the tube inside the tyre (make sure you have the rotation right )Place on one half of rim,put the valve through the hole in the top half of the rim,when its through place the top half of the rim on the tyre.Press the top half of the rim down until the studs come through the holes in the top half of the rim,put a nut on each stud by hand.Tighten the nuts with a spanner,making sure that the tube isn't nipped.When the nuts are tightened pump the tyre up so that it seats on the rim.When seated let the tyre down and put on the washers followed by the nuts,pump up to required psi.

Great thanks, will try this tomorrow. Would prefer not to lube or use heat.

I also took the precaution of attaching the hub to prevent any distortion but in all honesty don't think i needed to do this. Thanks again.
