Nordlock washers

Evening all Just taken an sip tubless wheel of to get a tyre changed and the Nordlock washers have all come of in two halves. This is the first time I have taken the wheel of since putting it on about a year ago.The question is do the washers normally come apart? Thanks

The Nordlock washer is made up of two seperate parts, so it would, I imagine.

Screwfix do a nordlock style washer, but cheaper.

Worth checking out

Yes they can. We use loads at work. Just make sure that when you put them back on that you put the ramp faces in contact with each other. Otherwise they do nothing.

Thanks for the replies tyre changed wheel back on reused the washers.

£8 for 20 but they're stainless steel. I'd be a bit reluctant to use these on the Sip rims as the teeth on the stainless ones are likely to "chew" into the alloy of the rim.

Once the 2 halves have been split be sure to put them back together correctly with the finer serrations on the outside, as per this pic.
