tank

Postby 515paul » Tue Aug 05, 2014 8:16 am

I have a TS1 225, im using a Mikuni TMX 35mm carb, LTH manifold, the problem I have is trying to fit a long range tank, the one that takes up the space of air box and toolbox,
its the one everyone seems to sell, well with my carb/ manifold set up no way will it fit, the carb is completely in the way, I tried fitting a standard TS1 manifold, the tank just fits, a bit to tight to the carb for me, but now the float bowl touches the floor board, the carb is fairly large, my question is what tank should i use, I want to keep using my LTH manifold.
so now I have a brand new long range tank for sale, Im sure it would fit if you didnt use a TMX carb.

cheesed off

Look at the Diablo tank. Although not sourced through Al anymore there quality and fit remains very good and I believe the chap who now sorts them will talk with you before buying and answer your question truthfully
