Indian legshields

Hi , my mate's restoring an Indian GP and has got the legshields shown in the link. Does anybody know what the lugs are for ? I'm thinking routing for indicator wires.
Anybody know for sure ?

I've never seen this feature on any Indian legshields before! Not sure that those are SIL factory items, however, they may be some odd type.

I'd like to see the complete legshields. Are you sure they are off a GP? That tunnel looks rounded and not like any GP I've seen. It could possibly be a variant manufactured by some local industry like Kelvinator.

Found some kelvinator legshields - they look different to my mate's ones.
