Is there an easy way of replacing the inner & outer throttle cable, the type with the soldered nipple?

It depends if the old outer cable has been cable tied to the frame. You will have to get on your hands and knees and fiddle with the new one. A small mirror and a torch may help. Try to pull the old one out from the bottom or top but cut the nipple off first, hope this helps.

Pull the inner out of the new. Push the new outer over as much of the existing inner cable as possible. Tape it up where the 2 outers butt up. Smooth the join.
Down under the scooter check for straps or ties and loosen or cut as necessary.
Gently pull the old and push the new until all the way through.
Unbind and push the inner through.
Now you have to push the outer at the headset end into place and this is.best done by tensioning the inner.
Est time: 15 mins - 3 hours !!!

Yeah but you can’t take the inner cable out of the new cable as it’s got a soldered on nipple

You cut one off and replace with solderless nipple.

If you do that to one of the fixed length ones with a nipple at either end won't it then be too short?

I don't think I've ever had one with a soldered nipple at both ends, only ever at one end, always nice to have some adjustment

Wasn't saying you don't get them, just that I've never ordered one, but all mine need an extra long cable which is probably why
