Hi People, anyone got any recommendations for side panniers to go on a Series 3? Looking for slim ones so can still filter traffic, have even been looking at cycle ones but the middle part not big enough to go over frame.

Most of the "Oxford" range of m/c panniers fit well and look good. Lots of adjustment. Mine are Oxford Sport I think but it's too cold to go out in the garage and check.

Highly recommend the Givi WP405. Waterproof, roll-top and a huge 25ltr on each side. Not the slimmest admittedly but you'll still be able to filter the majority of the time.

I've got a set of Oxford 1st Time panniers, that do the job. Any panniers that are worth having will widen your scooter limiting your ability to filter, but even when fully expanded on a fat arsed S2 I can still filter most of the time

I have Oxford Sport too. You can release the "expansion zips" and fill the bags, but you can also try squashing the bags once full and zipping up the expansion zips to slim-down the width whilst riding. It doesn't work all the time, but when it does, it is very useful.

I go for a handlebar mounted mirror for the very reasons described above with respect to Stadium mirrors. I have used the Indian headset on my latest tourer and retained the mounting lugs beneath the lower headset. They have been drilled and tapped, so I can swap my one mirror from right to left when I travel in Europe.
