Or 90/90 x 10 tyre recommendations.

I don't really want to pay more than about £50-55 for a pair. Something a bit sticky, and unlikely to see the rain.

Any thoughts on what tyre and which supplier?

I just got some Conti Twists 300x 10 for my Vega ( haven't tried them yet ) - £50 a pair from https://www.tyreleader.co.uk/

I rate the 350x10 so should be OK

Thanks Ian, that's just the sort of info I was after.

How have you found the wear on the Twists? I ask because the Scootsmarts seem to wear quickly, which might be a problem on the Italian job. (I have Scootsmarts on the road bike)

The 300 x 10 are rated at 50M (81mph), which is good. Tyreleader want £59 for a pair. There are 90/100 available for less money (62mph rated) but I don't understand these new-fangled measurements.

How does a 90/100 compare with a 3.00 x 10?

They're most similar to the 3.50x10 tyres and not 3.00x10.

They are 90mm (3.54") wide and their height it 100% of the width, 90mm (3.54").

I have just written an article for the mag looking at some of this, however not sure when it will be published.

So a 90/90 would be 81mm high (3.2"), so it is bigger than 3.00 x 10 (3").
