Spark Plug help? Lambretta LD150 1957

Hello ! new here in the club!

I have a 1957 Lambretta LD150 and it runs very well! but I snapped the throttle cable and I have changed it and its all good! my only issue now is the Spark Plug

It had an old spark plug that seemed to be fine, the bike starts always at the first or second kick. I felt the need to change the spark plug as I dont know how old the one that came with was! so I decided to get a NGK B7HS short reach, and I feel that the other one was acting better? if I dont accelerate a bit, the bike just turns off. =( and before didn't really do that. I feel is a bit weak and hard to stay on! I know is winter and it might take longer to warm up but with that spark plug it feels quite weak. (maybe I should leave the old one that seemed fine?)

Im new to this Lambrettas scooters, I would appreciate if someone could recommend me what spark plugs are the best for this model? I seem to find different types on the internet! I figured someone here might know?

Are there better spark plugs for winter? and better for summer?

Thank you very much in advance for any help! :D

Hey JB !

I didnt really touch the gap. I was reading about it but I just cant find the info about the gap I should have. Cos I have seen people using B8HS on LD150s and other people using different ones. I am a bit new to all this so I am not sure which one would be the best for winter.

Cheers in advance JB!

The external temp shouldn't affect the plug choice A b7hs should be fine the gap should be .020"
