Hi folks,

I was cleaning my carb and realised I have a broken filter which I cant seem to find around at the moment.. does anyone know where I could find one or someone has a spare one. Any info would be incredible help! thank you!

Sorry forgot to say which one. is a Lambretta Ld150 from 1957 carb is Dell'orto MA19

I can't recall seeing the fuel filter available anywhere. You are probably best off removing it completely and fitting an in line filter to the petrol pipe.

The D/LDs have a weird carb with a fuel sediment bowl cast as part of the carb. All the Dellorto parts sites carry parts for the far-more-common motorcycle carbs which never had this feature.

All is not lost. It's a very easy part to make. Get some fine mesh. Amazon has some:

Find a former the right size: marble, thimble, your finger. Form the mesh around that and cut it off with scissors. Cut off the remains of the old mesh and solder the new to the old ring. Or, find a copper ring the right size and solder the new mesh to that.
