Hello,

I just wanted to ask for advice about periodic maintenance on my LD.

Is working very very well. Using it every day!
Im just wondering what's a good routine to keep it all in good place?

I have a lubrication chart for the LD and also how often I should change gearbox. (which I'm still not 100% sure) but I am wondering about points and carb, is it good to maybe monthly give it a good clean?

At the start of the season:

- check tire condition and pressures
- check cable condition and adjustment
- lube ALL grease points generously
- check fluid levels, top up as required
- fill tank with correct pre-mix*
- check function of all electrics and lights
- check the tightness of EVERY accessible nut and bolt
- test drive

Every second year (assuming modest annual mileages)

- change final drive and transmission oils
- check points for gap and condition and lube rubbing block (replace if necessary)
- check spark plug for gap and condition (replace if necessary)

* use modern, low-smoke oil, preferably fully synthetic
