The bike hasn't run for years and what I thought would be a quick tidy-up may end up as a full rebuild!
Behind the flywheel was a bit of a rusty shambles with some disconnected wires, so with the help of a friend I'd sent the flywheel off for remagnetising and all three coils off for rewinding. Now they've returned I've found the careful dismantling notes I made have somehow been swapped with a chimp's scrawlings and the photo's I took are rubbish.
My current set of questions (and I'm sure there'll be more...) involves the ignition wiring. I have had a look for answers, and bought a couple of books, but obviously not the right books. So, if anyone could chip in with advice re the following I'd be most grateful:
1. Did the Series B have an engine stop switch? Mine hasn't but I'm mainly worried I may have the wiring for it laying around confusing the matter. If it had a kill switch how was it wired at the magneto end?
2. From the moving side of the points there was a yellow wire running to the condenser and a black wire, currently dangling free. Should this black wire be connected to the ignition coil?
