Usually I can do a couple of sums and work out a year of production to the nearest month or so, but this LD 125 is killing me, I am getting all kinds of dates from all sites, so can anybody help me, Please. The engine number is: 336682 and the frame is 54779 TIA, Seriously MANY TIA.

I've had a look and as far as I can tell it was manufactured in May 1953. There will be no correlation to the engine No though as there were two production lines and two similar frame numbers could have wildly different engine numbers.
