1955 Model D150 (Version 2) - Steering lock

I recently bought a D150 to strip down and restore. It started easily, so I have begun to dismantle it. It was apparently manufactured in 1955, but only imported into England in 1987 and first registered in Sheffield. Most of it is original, but a few things need repairing or replacing. This will be the first of several posts, asking for help with this!

The peg on the steering lock has been snapped off almost level with its barrel. Can the peg be replaced, and if so, how please?

New steering locks are available from Casa Lambretta suppliers.

Thanks.

I was hoping to keep as many of the original parts as possible, but it looks as though I may have to buy a new one, unless anyone knows how I can salvage the old lock.

If you want to keep it as original as possible, by and new lock, disassemble it and use the pin to repair your lock.
