Jet 200 used to sell paint codes for the Lambrettas (including early ones) but then paint formulations changed with the switch to water based paints. You could ask if they have re-done the paint codes.

I have all the Leschler paint codes for Lambrettas from Model A right through to SX and DL (GP) in a book by Vittorio Tessera.
I am told they can easily be matched by any paintshop here in England, but have no idea about the situation in the States I'm afraid.
Which model and year do you have?

Alas, no one can match the original paint codes on this side of the pond.

Vittorio Tessera only mentions two versions of the LD150 in his book. Version II ran from May 1957 to end of production. The silencer inspection ports had been deleted and the tail pipe was extended through to the rear brake.
Only one colour, Earth Grey (Lechler 8041),was used for all bodywork except side panels, headset and headlamp surround, which could be either Earth Grey or:
Tyrrhenian Blue Brazil
Teal (no longer available)
England Blue
Emerald Green
Antilles Brown
Red
Maroon
You could always import the paint from England.
The ISBN No for the book ("Lambretta Restoration Guide") is: 978-88-7911-551-3. On mine it's marked up at US$38.00. It's available on Amazon, etc.

Would importing the paints be much of a problem?
