I just used a large, long bolt and nut with sockets and washers sized to suit.

Heating the alloy causes it to expand a little, which makes it a bit easier to get the old ones out. Sometimes it overheats the old silentblocs, so a job best done in the open. When fitting the new ones, put them in the freezer for a few hours, and heat up the alloy casting - it all helps!

I drilled lots of holes in the rubber until I could knock the centres out then cut the outer steel ring with a hacksaw. They came out very easy with no damage to the engine case
Then fitted the new ones with the bolt and socket method mentioned .
The whole job was a lot easier than I expected took around 45 mins to an hour .
Good luck
