I've seen a few model d and c with dual seats fitted... anyone know what seat could be made to suit?

Most, if not all, Ds came with dual seats. I assume it's similar for Cs? Casa Lambretta supply reproduction seat covers and rear seat frames and springs.

I thought all D's came will saddles

99% of d send c models I've seen have single seats... the odd racer and Howard's Red Devil's have dual seats... in just wondering what these seats are from?

I think it will be a case of modifying a motorbike seat as you say I've only ever seen bench seats on racer style conversions

My apologies. Early morning had me thinking dual seats = twin saddle seats. None/nada/zero came with a long "dual" seat. Some of the racing versions were modified to fit them.

Thanks... I know they didn't come with them... I'm just wondering what could be made to fit them... I assume it's early motorcycle, just not sure what?

as most of them seem to be done in italy in the 50's I would think they used an italian or british motor bike seat

I expect dual seats were just custom made to suit. Skilled labour was very inexpensive back then.
