BSSOStock grid preview for the BSSO Eastern Cup sponsored by Chiselspeed Tuning - Cadwell Park
Group 4 will be hotly contested by the Conneely brothers with 2016 Champion Steve trying to get the better of 2015 & 2017 Champion Darren both on Replay Racing Lambrettas. Dave Bristow, James Lancaster and 2018 Champion Chris Geyton will be trying to make sure they don't have it all their own way.
Group 4e should see some close action with Team DSC reigning Production Class Champion and overall Stock No.1 plate holder Justin Price moving into the class along with reigning Group 4 Champion Jason Metivier (Now racing under the Replay Racing banner). With current 4e Champion Drew Duncan and last years runner up Stuart Day (SRP Racetech Race Team ) also in attendance it's anyone's guess who will come out on top.
Eyes will also be on the first Vespa to enter Group 4e - Ian Scutt will pilot the Hornet Racing 145cc SS90 for the first time and see how it fairs against the 200cc Lambrettas. John Woods and Paul Fitzgerald have also made the move into the class and long time 4e runner Andy Walker completes the group.
The Production class will see last year's runner-up Graham Tatton sporting full Team DSC colours for the first time and Justin Offland will also be in new colours as he fronts his newly formed team Just offland #17 . Inaugural Production Class Champion Barrie Braithwaite and returnee to the class Shaun Nickells will be out alongside veteran racers Keith Terry and Bob West who will no doubt be battling for "senior" bragging rights ! Group 6 veteran Steve Wright (Team DSC) will be out for the first time on his Production Lambretta and Rob Fielder (Teamgeorge scooter racing) will be trying to upset the Lambretta runners aboard the sole Vespa entry for the weekend. Phil Hallam will finally get out on track as this season's rookie entrant on his Replay Racing Lambretta.
Group 10 autos will see meeting sponsor Chiselspeed Tuning Ltd guaranteed a trophy to take home as Chris Cook and reigning Class Champion Mark Shirley will battle it out against each other. Open Class sees John Chitoglou and Steve Hamilton getting some extra track time on their Group6 and 6a machines and Alex VanDyke has a first outing on his Production Auto.
