I'm going to Marlow for my first rally & wonder if there's any others riding there on the Friday from St Ives/Cambridge area?

Not camping as my son lives close by.

Got a cross country route in my head, so let's hope it's dry.

Ill be heading over from near Thetford on Friday morning taking a route using the A11 and passing south of Cambridge around 10am ish and then A505, Royston - St Albans etc. Happy to meet up for the ride to the rally if you want to suggest a rendezvous

Made it there & back with no issues other than an extra loop in Aylesbury and a reasonable route across country despite being made up in our heads 'on the go'.

Thank you to Colin for accompanying me & who put me to shame with the kit he carries and the tech' on his scooter. Good to meet the folks I did and especially Paul who had a rather longer ride to & from Liverpool and the two up boys from Aylesbury I think on the ride out.

Overall a great weekend (mind you I didn't camp as stayed with my son in nearby Maidenhead hence the dining room picture) and I'll be looking to attend a few more in 2025 onwards.

Good to meet you, Mark. Glad you enjoyed yourself :)

These were the pads I mentioned. They were recommended to me although I haven’t, as yet, tried them.

Thanks Mark.

It certainly sewed the seed & I've already sent an email enquiring about a GT240 kit!
