10 Endurance race, France, Oct 18

In October last year Scootopia Racing Team took their two SX200 based production scooters to Magny Cours circuit in France, competing against 45+ Vespas and another uk based Lambretta Team from Thanet Scooters, the 10 hour race was a real test of endurance for both the riders and machines. The JB tuning built production class RB20 kitted machines performed incredibly against works teams such as polini, pinasco etc, amazing when you consider they were loaded into a van a week after their last race of a 30+race season with the BSSO during which they won several races between them and finished 2nd and 3rd in the production/BSSO championship.
Andy Barnes, team boss with Scootopia race team put together a team of riders and mechanics from several UK race teams including Team DSC(Darlington SC) and Hornet racing, it was a great event which hopefully will be repeated again this year,
