Really pleased the date has been released, it gives me and probably others, half a chance of getting the time off work !

There are other Lcgb events but I like this one in particular. Only hope I make it next year

Thanks Toot and the Lcgb.

I could always ask our good friends at the ULC.........

Although they already have a equivalent that is the Nine Counties Run, which they've held for the last few years (the 9 Counties of Ulster) ;)

We do the 9 counties and that includes a coast to coast from Belfast to Donegal then the next day the remaining counties so all nine are included. Great idea that thou, from Belfast to Donegal, great roads, some back roads over hills to challenge navigation and then you need the Euro for Donegal, approx 140 miles each day. ULC would welcome to support the LCGB with this some year.

I love the mainland coast to coast and hope the hardknot appears again soon. Mind you we do the coast to coast twice from Liverpool to wherever then home through Scotland. 3 days of great driving.

Any LCGB member wanting to join us on the 9 counties let us know, normally in August.

Great. Had a few interests already. No passport needed for Norn Ireland or Donegal to be sure to be sure. ;)

It is but it`s an open border, no checks, no passport needed. Only about two miles from my house.

I love the fact it's the most northern county but it's in the south

Exactly, it's northern (geographically) and southern (politically)

Put a holiday form in a few weeks ago to my employer, one day off for the Saturday the 18th April.

Got the form back, which said no available space, the bastards so frustrating, and you are working your bollocks off for them at this time of year ! ! ! And giving them months upon months of notice.
