I'll second that - top value for money (made the Davos 'goody bag' look even more meager).
Thanks guys for a great weekend.

Great rally and fanatically well organised, thanks LCGB.

Also amazing company, topped off with wine and cheese in the marquee and Richie's antics with the vibrating bunny!

Goody bag :o  :o
I stayed in the Horseshoe Inn at Levisham with Afandy, it was 17 miles to the camp site down some very narrow lanes, then there was the darkness :o
so we decided not to venture out after 5pm or when it was wet or windy or slightly cold
(cosseted southern softies)
So missed out on food, goodies and campsite shenanigans ;) ;)

I have to say there were some absolutely lovely S types on show, both at Rayspeed, and back at the Rugby club later. Almost all of them were deserving of a trophy in my opinion. I spent the ride back yesterday morning contemplating S type colour combinations, oh, and trying to avoid being blown off by the gusting winds on the A59 too.

Many thanks to all the organisers in the LCGB.

PS, I apologise for starting my TS1 at 6am  , but I did push it to the car park first

You are normally very 'stealthy' Paul, I remember waking up in Belgium and there you were....gone, only a few feet away and I didn't hear a thing :? You're a very thoughtful soul 8-)

Sounds like a great rally, sorry I couldn't make it but I was busy growing older :(

I could just echo all that has already been said but that would be too easy. I could also just say "thanks" and leave it at that. What I will say is that in the 17 years that I have been back into scootering this weekend has been the most enjoyable, memorable and rewarding Rally that I have ever been on.
I always like to make an effort in everything that I do and to be rewarded for that effort is extremely satisfying. To just be part of the Show over at AF's was enough but to actually win a trophy and get it presented by the legendary Mr Arthur Francis was stuff of dreams. Meeting and being photographed with these people I have only previously read about is something that will stay with me for ever.
Then to have all that enhanced even further by winning "Best S-Type Replica" in the L.C.G.B. show was the final icing on the cake for me.
I have made some fantastic friends over the last few years both within the L.C.G.B. and my club, Wisemen S.C. and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be part of this great big family.
The organisation at both the Malton Rugby Club and at AF's was second to none. The venue, food music, rugby club staff, scooters and people was absolutely spot on, so to all the organisers who gave their time voluntarily to put on this event, I salute you, and long may it continue.
