Ambleside Members Rally ticket information
Posted: Fri Feb 02, 2024 4:49 pmOur 2nd members rally of the year will be held in the heart of the Lake District National Park, in the lovely Market Town of Ambleside on the weekend of the 19th/20th April.
The event will be held at Ambleside Rugby Club, LA22 0EN, tickets will be sold via the usual link from the LCGB website and will cost £15.50 (including portal fee) this includes weekend camping with on site Bar & showers, breakfast Barms on Sat & Sun morning, rally goodies plus the traditional Saturday night do in the club house.
Tickets will go on sale from 10am on the 5th February until the 9th March and are available for Members only. please note tickets are none refundable.
There will also be a ride out on the Saturday for an extra 15 BSM Points leaving from the Rugby Club at approx 11am (leaving timeTBC). The route will take us south down the side of Lake Windermere to Troutbeck Bridge, then we head North through Patterdale & Glenridding up along the side of Ullswater onto Pooley Bridge where the half way signing on point will be at the Sun Inn. Leaving Pooley Bridge we continue on the A592 left through Dacre up to the A66 for a short stretch onto the B5322 to rejoin the A591 down the side of Thirlmere towards Grasmere & Rydal and back into Ambleside. A journey of approx 50 miles. Remember to sign on at the start middle & end to qualify for the additional points. Directions will be available on the day.

LCGB committee
Asked about a refund (make ticket available for someone else) but was told not possible. Bottom line is that I have a place that I can’t use. Is there a way for a name change? (Not too concerned about refund).
