our route is only 101 miles and features as many bends as possible :D

our brekkie stop at a greasy spoon near Burbage, dispite the name there were no greebos in sight!

we made steady progress till Chipping Norton where Brian was suffering a loss of power, after a bit of a break we got to the Rally site ok.

Brian got his hands dirty so i took pics instead

here's Trev sporting the latest "must have" support socks and the longest shorts i've seen, cool man ;)

previous rideouts have been marshalled. this time everyone was given a map and asked to leave in small groups. i decided not to look at the map and followed a group just leaving at the official rideout time. due to a tractor and trailer in the wrong place at the wrong time 3 of us were on our own with no idea were the hell we were
we looked at the map and pieced it together as best we could and set off, after a few more miles we got caught in a downpour but found the pub, but no one else was there. after at least 30 mins some turned up from the original group, they had been following some who were not actually doing the rideout

rideout destination, the Four All's Canalside Pub in Welford on Avon

Well done Peejay for the pics. This is what I meant to do but never got around to. Even made the error of going to the bar before putting my tent up. :D

Had a great weekend, great company, food and beer. And some lovely roads, doing town to town instead of motorway was really enjoyable. I did, once again have tail can issues, losing mine somewhere before Oxford on Friday. However my luck was in, and I found it two days later on the return journey, just sitting there in the middle of the road!

My sincere thanks to the organisers, a job well done.

Don't forget the thunder and lightning on Saturday, which didn't matter really. The Friday riding up was perfect weather and the Sunday morning ride home was a real treat, hardly any traffic and a little cooler, top weekend.
