good afternoon G,

it was good to meet you in Davos, and various petrol stations on the way back. we actually made Calais at 4.00 on Monday despite the rain on Sunday.

we travelled 340 miles on Sunday stopping at METZ and then did the balance 300 ish miles to Calais in time for the france game on the telly which made Calais

quite lively that night. We then got the morning Eurotunnel (9.50) returning with 6 scooters on the road out of 9 that started one of which was due to Richard coming off

and breaking his arm on the way. we borrowed his engine though and that lasted till 20 lmiles outside calais where Chris blew up his second engine of the week.
because of the earlier ferry we did'nt meet you guys on the 5.30. hope that you returned without incident.

Once out of raining Suisse ....we got off the main roads and did all the wee ones up to Calais.....so sorry
to hear about Richard's fall Hope he recovers all right.......Made it back to London tuesday eve and so
paranoid about leaving my Targa on the street overnight I pushed it into the Arts Club in Chelsea much to
the amusement of the patrons and club members Be well G. Sorry Eden for slight hijack

Hi all. I'm going out to Monza for the Grand Prix the weekend of 6-7 sept for my 50th birthday weekend. I'm planning a trip out to Lambrate but are the gates all that's left? Is there anything else Lammie related to see in Milan?

Excellent suggestions, cheers chaps. Gonna be hard to get to the old factory via publico transporto, but I did notice a bus lane so hopefully I can get out there from central Milan that way. Vittorio's gaff sounds like a must too

Vittorio got us a taxi to the Factory from Casa, he also waited for us and then took us to Lambrate Station

The nice cobbled area in front of the reception area is now missing one cobble
