This weeks subject is an Arch
:D
NO CHEATING....CURRENT IMAGES TAKEN THIS WEEK ONLY PLEASE ! :D

This doesn't need to be Marble Arch
With a little ingenuity this could be an arched door or window or a garden arch like a trellis arch . Lets see what wacky ideas you can come up with

Not to be considered for the challenge as this an old pic from 2011. It's at Middleham in Wensleydale on the way to Tan Hill.

Great shot ,nice arch I hope you put some pennies in the poor box and said a few our fathers whilst you were there

What bike have you got ? I'm guessing you're a 'roady' like me ... I was looking whistfully at my old Cannondale Caad9 today but its staying in the shed until it warms up a tad

Thanks Johnny, I can keep warm cycling - got all the right gear but on the scooter is another matter. I have a canyon aeroad team, Planet X N2a, Planet X pro carbon and a Bianchi via Nirone - none of which gets used as much as they should. Then neither does the Ld or SX

typical cyclist... different bike for every day of the week

Just checked out the Bianchi on CW gorgeous ! ;)

Talking of cold it might be a good idea to start a thread on cold weather clothing recommendations and reviews as I haven't a clue what to buy to be honest.

How many do you want? Slight detour on the daily commute to work.

Don't have much choice with the commuting as I don't have a car. Wife has a car, 19 year old son has a car, 17 year old son is getting car for Christmas! BUT, I do have a couple of Lambrettas and the perfect excuse if I need to spend money keeping them on the road.

Phil - My insurance coy tried to say that I couldn't have commuting on the insurance with a classic policy so I told them I would move. They put it on

oh noooooooooo :o
How could you ? I musn't larf cos I did exactly the same thing myself a few weeks back on the memorial photoshoot

Did you have to push it 2 miles ? I'd knock on someones door and ask them for some 2xstroke mower/strimmer fuel rather than push my baby around these days . Shame is momentary but a 2x mile hike would test my patience these days. :D

Anyway try look on the bright side ......you got the shot ;)

Steve. Maybe if you cut the engine while trying to get that emasculate shot you may have had enough fuel to get you home.
