You could have a separate category for those - "hidden not ridden".

You make it sound like a crime to have more than one?

for someone that has so far made no effort to contribute a photo to this challenge , I find your keeness to criticise and give your opinions how you think others should run this thread inexplicable ...?

Why not get on one of your many scooters and take a picture to post ;)

It's not a crime to own multiple lambretta's
What is in my opinion is not riding them ! Why bother owning it in the first place !
I hope to have another on the road at some point myself ! So I'm certainly not against owning a few.
I totally agree with the previous comments on the two occasions I've posted photos myself this photo challenge was responsible for getting me off my arse and getting me out on the scoot that's two occasions I wouldn't have if it wasn't for this excellent idea so come on lads and lasses make time take your camera and enjoy a spur of the moment ride out on the worlds best scooter .

I don't mean to pour water on your idea but aside from the lack of photo contribution so far and its fair to say the generaly poor image quality which would be very hard to reproduce and print at any size and quality . I cannot see how we would ever be able to sell enough calendars to meet the conciderable costs of production and printing .

Why don't you do some research and costings and let us know what you find and we'll take it from there. :D

I'll make some enquiries and get back to you.
You make a couple of very valid points though.

Sorry, I thought this was a forum - a meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged. ;)

Cool.

I'm away this weekend but should get a chance to post the challenge on Sunday night (if that's the correct thing to do).

Thinking cap is on.

Cheers

Regards Phil ;)
Or you could let Johnnyxs know and he could post it on your behalf ?

Phil that has already been organised , I posted it last week. (great minds think alike ), :D
I think I put it in the first post and also later but I will check .. ;)
I did PM Warren last week about selecting the next subject but heard nothing back until I saw his question in the thread.

The problem is that this challenge thread is becoming congested with too much discussion and lots of important information is getting missed by several posters who are either posting the wrong subjects or on the wrong dates or using archive images .
I think it would be good if we could persuade a Mod or Admin to move all the conversation to a new 'Challenge Photo Discussion' thread and keep one thread strictly for images with discriptions only. What say you lot :D

Warren please do not alter or ammend this challenge thread without running it by me first . This thread is taking me over 4+ hours a week to moderate and sort out as it is.

Please will everyone read the initial post on the first page of this thread before posting so that everyone is clear about what and when to post.
To be clear I'll repost the posting guide .
1. Each weeks challenge commences midnight on Saturday and finishes Midnight on the following Saturday . (This is to give everyone 2x chances to take both weeks pictures on a weekend.)
2. Only a single image is to be submitted for each weeks challenge in this thread. ( there is no reason why we couldn't start another thread to post further images.)
3. Only images that have been taken during the subject challenge week are eligible .( No early and No late posts please if you miss the deadline )

4. The first person to post the weeks challenge image can they please PM me with their choice for the following weeks challenge or include it with their weekly photo. Pleaseo not start a new post with your suggestion.

Sorry, always was one to read the instructions after the fact.

No PM, is it still in your 'Outbox'?

So, Saturday night it is.

I will be in Spain at the MotoGP (lucky me), so Johnny, if I've messed-up or I have no Internet and haven't done it by Sunday morning would you mind stepping in please.

Thanks

Warren
