I've always loved the Spanish S2 and the Winter just appealed that bit more, so when I saw Perry Lewis was selling one I just new I'd have to have it
It's in stunnigly original condition, so that's how I plan to keep it. I've just started a strip down, and am just planning to give it a seriously deep clean and then rebuild the engine, replace the cables, etc and possibly a 12v conversion - still not sure on that yet - then treat it to generous helpings of ACF50 or Owatrol oil and put it back together looking like it does now.
The picture below was taken last week in my garage and the two underneath are last one (also bought from Perry and in a much worse state than seen here) and the latest one both with my little girl, who says she can't wait to get on the back.
Glad to be back, I was a contributor back when I had the last one but I guess that forum is long gone now, so hopefully I can pick up some new top tips and info as I go through the process again.
