Some of you may feel a slight sense of déjà vu here as this scooter will have a very similar paint scheme to a previous Indian GP which I built a few years ago!

It starts with a frame! A 1969 dl125. Bought two weeks ago.

Yes Daz mate.

Frames back from paint.

Stand on first

Cast 225 engine going in for now.
Image

Used offset frame cones incase I change to top end and it needs more clearance.
Image

Engine in, BGM rear shock.
Image

New Scootopia GP toolbox lock.
Image

Need to get the frame fork bearing tracks in so I can fit the forks yet. Lower one seems tight so I'm gonna freeze it and heat the frame to get it in!

Looking nice already.....

I haven't got a winter project yet, but this is making me think I need to find something. Time in the garage is therapeutic don't you think?

Coming along very nicely and quickly - you'll need to find another dozen projects to do this winter if you keep this pace up! Paint looks top quality - is it your usual painter?

What's the finish on the rims? Paint or powder?
