Okay, please help, this is doing my head in. LI headset wiring can anyone explain how to wire it up? The bulb holder looks like it’s made by Fisher-Price, I have taped together (temporarily) the wires I think go together and have posted pics of what wires I have. I have done a full rebuild and this is by far the worst bit without doubt.

Do you have the Sticky Manual? All the wiring diagrams are in there.

You'll need to give a bit more information.

What Series Li?
Italian or Spanish or Indian?
AC or DC? Do you have a battery?
Key switch or kill button?
What switch on the throttle side?
Have you replaced the loom?
If so is it standard or simplified?

General comments -

You will have wires from the loom usually -

Green - engine kill that shorts the ignition to earth either via the kill button or keyswitch - usually via a pink wire which goes to one of the screws on the gear or throttle rod supports.
Brown, purple and grey - these are usually live feeds and usually matched to corresponding colours from the switch(es)
Black - usually the is connected to the speedo bulb and to the tail light

the handle bar switch will usually have -

Red/ Blue - power to the dip and main beam - it doesn't matter which is which.
Yellow - power to the side light bulb.
Brown / purple / grey power into the switch

white to horn - pressing the button completes the circuit to earth.

BTW - if you replace the loom / switches with new from various sources there is no guarantee the colour coding is maintained as per OEM

The Sticky manual makes this a doddle. New loom around £30 and worth the investment on a rebuild.

Sticky's book has a comprehensive section of wiring diagrams in the back but you will need to order a new bulb holder/connector block as the one you've pictured is an S2 one not an s3

On the a to b thing a multimeter with beep mode is invaluable in working out where things start and end and in tracing eart faults.
